After nine months of absence, Golovinine will return to take Steve Rolls in a catchweight fight in a battle of 164 pounds. Golovkin is very dear and gives some opportunities to disturb the rolls. This is the second weekend in a row, which we can see in huge events on paper in the main event at MSG. As the final of the last weekend, as Anne Ruiz Junior, Anthony hit the world in the seventh round to defeat Joshua.
In some ways, the outcome of that war can help to appeal to Golvin-Rolls. Thanks to the Ruiz, the boxing world is still thinking about bigger compromises and Rolas is trying to do something unlikely later. Rolls is a strong amateur reproduction and a skilled boxer with long arms, but most do not believe he has the power to oppose with Golovkin.
Fights on Golovkin-Rolls undercard are not very stimulating. Their record has fewer potentials, with less than ten professional fights, but there are some credible and experienced combatants. For the title of the undercurrent title, Ali Ahmadov v. Marcus McDaniel
The audience’s primary competition might be UFC 238, which is happening at the same time, but in Chicago. There will be two world titles on the line, although Henry Sejudo and Valentino Shevchenko are the least known among UFC’s champions. Yet the rest of the cards are powerful with Tony Ferguson v Donald Carnon and many more. UFC 238 is a pay-per-view, which can take away some fight sports fans, but there is apparently more value for fans who like MMA and boxing.
There is only one other boxing card on Saturday in a major network. Oscar Valdez defends ESPN against Reno, Nevada, against his WBO Featherweight title Jason Sanchez. Among the mix for high profile fights with champions like Valdez 25-0 and Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr., Josh Worthington, and others. However, it is unlikely that Vallejo’s fight will remove boxing fans from the Golvkin-Rolas – unless they subscribe to DAZN.
